Vacation in Stormhome: Around Highwash > Pinnacle > Ruins

Headed over to check out the old Gatekeeper ruins in Pinnacle. They are peculiar and very old, and beautiful. I think some of the symbols I see on them are similar to ones I saw in the Cave Heart of Ghaash Dar when I was in the Demon Wastes. More peculiar is that as soon as the symbols catch my eye, they’re gone again. They make my Mark from the testing ritattotual tingle, once, the first time I touch one of them. After that, I can’t make it tingle again by touching any other ruin, nor the same one again.

This is crazy! I pull out my journal ASAP and take intricate notes on the symbol that caused that, as well as those around it. Trying to remember how I think they were arranged when I touched it, and how they are arranged now. I take down as much as I can about how it felt, which finger(s) I used to touch it, where my feet were planted relative to the symbols. I had to put that one second, didn’t I? This blows the entire day and possibly a couple more even knowing I can’t recreate it.

Unfortunately, the stone is impassive and offers me no further answers. Unfortunately, but that is how stones tend to be.

Still, that doesn’t stop me from spending a little too long there.
