Day 9 – Winner, Winner, We Still Have to Wait for Dinner
9th of Nymm, 989 YK
Marbles and Pan showed up the next afternoon. Luckily, they had run into each other and were able to work together to get back. Marbles actually got stuck in a drow lift snare, so it was good that Pan was there to help him out. Shoe wasn’t so lucky. Apparently, he got tracked by a goblin hunting party and would have been gobbo grub if it weren’t for the Tabaxi hunters who apparently were following us the whole time we were out there (sneaky bastards). They stopped Shoe from dying but he’d gotten hit with some poison darts and had to be brought back without completing his quest. Poor Shoe. He’ll get another chance next year though.
